Preservice Division News and Information

NAEA is seeking a new and dynamic logo concept design for the National Art Honor Society and the National Junior Art Honor Society. The selected design(s) will become the official logo of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS). Submission deadline: February 7, 2025.

This scholarship will support ED&I-focused visual arts educators, with a priority focus on first-time attendees of the NAEA National Convention and Preservice visual arts and design students. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded.

NAEA is pleased to announce the Leaders in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Scholarship for 2025 School for Arts Leaders (SAL) program at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, AR.

NAHS and NJAHS students are invited to apply for the volunteer leadership position of a student ambassador on the National Art Honor Societies (NAHS/NJAHS) National Student Council.

NAEA invites members to apply and join the Delegates Assembly Ad Hoc Committee, who will be called upon for the revision of two publications: the Professional Codes for Art Educators and the Professional Code of Ethics for State and Province Associations.
