Renew an Existing Chapter
Existing chapters must be registered each year to maintain active status. Sponsors are encouraged to register their chapter at the beginning of each school year—the earlier you register, the sooner your chapter will be eligible to take part in student opportunities!
Follow these steps to renew your chapter:
1.) Prepare your student roster and proceed with one of these easy registration methods:
- Online: Ensure your NAEA sponsor membership is current through June 30. From the National Art Honor Society sponsor portal, click “Register Students” to pay your yearly student dues and activate your chapter. Once complete, upload your student roster and bylaws.
- Fax: If you need an invoice, complete the National Art Honor Societies chapter registration form, then fax it along with payment to 703-860-2960.
- Mail: Print and complete the National Art Honor Societies chapter registration form, then mail it with payment to NAEA Member Services, PO Box 98361, Washington, DC 20090
- Email: If you need an invoice, complete the registration form and email it with payment to NAHS@arteducators.org.
- Once processing is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. The chapter will also receive a letter of acknowledgement and student membership cards for each member by email and/or mail (cards mailed only upon request) along with access to all other National Art Honor Societies benefits.

- Note: If your sponsor fee (NAEA Membership) is not up to date and paid through June 30, you will need to pay your sponsorship fee along with the student dues. To see the sponsor fee for your state, please refer to the NAEA membership dues calculator.
2.) Once processing is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. The chapter will receive a letter of acknowledgement and student membership cards for each member by email and/or mail. Additionally, the chapter will gain instant access to all other NAHS benefits.

Student Membership Cards
After registering your chapter, you will receive an email containing the membership card template for your registered student members for the current program year. Please note that NAEA has transitioned from physical to digital membership cards to make our process more efficient and environmentally friendly. If you require physical copies of the membership cards, please email nahs@arteducators.org .
