Create Art and a Broader Community of Support for Your Visual Arts Program
Selected teachers can win up to $20,000 for their classroom!

Last year, the National Art Education Association (NAEA)partnered with Popsicle on the Stick with Art! Contest, spurring creativity and collaboration nationwide while awarding $100,000 in funds to schools and visual arts educators for their classrooms and programs to help close the arts gap. Hundreds of schools took to social media to share their craft stick art and design creations…

We want to keep the momentum going and take it even further this year! We are happy to announce that the 2023-24 Popsicle Stick with Art! Contest is now open and more accessible than ever. The contest is moving through the classroom and into the community to help bridge the arts gap. Along with art educators, we’re inviting students’ families and communities to get involved and participate in the contest on behalf of schools. The more submissions posted for your school, the greater the chance to win!

To participate, art educators and parents of students who are 6-18 years of age can share a photo of students’ craft stick creations via Instagram using the hashtag #StickWithArtContest and tagging @Popsicle.

Popsicle and NAEA will select 40 teachers to win $1,000 to fund art school supplies.

• Four of the winning teachers’ schools will receive $10,000 and one lucky teacher’s school will receive $20,000.
• Rewards are meant to be spent on supporting arts access in school and community art programs.
• Submissions will be open from November 1, 2023 through December 10, 2023. Contest winners will be announced in 2024.
