Registration Materials

Register your chapter at the beginning of every school year to maintain active status. Chapter membership expires on June 30 each year, regardless of a chapter’s date of registration. If you are a new sponsor or cosponsor for an existing chapter, please contact NAEA Member Services for support.

Constitution and Bylaws

NAHS and NJAHS  are more than “art clubs.” Students are required to meet eligibility criteria for membership as detailed in your chapter’s constitution and bylaws.

National Art Honor Society Interest Meeting Resources

This recording provides an overview to assist educators in starting a National Art Honor Society chapter at their school or in encouraging fellow art teachers to become chapter sponsors. The video introduces the program, outlines the benefits of having a chapter, and details the steps needed to get started. 

Student Membership Card Printing Template

After registering your chapter, you will receive an email with an attached file. This file is the membership card template for your registered student members for the 2026-2027 program year. We have transitioned from physical to digital membership cards to make our process more efficient and environmentally friendly.

If you require physical copies, please email nahs@arteducators.org to request them. Please allow up to four weeks to receive your membership cards in the mail.

Use the template below to print directly on the digital membership cards. 

If you would like to order Award Certificates, they are available in packs of 10 and can be purchased in the NAHS online store.  

 

COLLABORATE: Sponsor forum

a 24/7 online community dedicated to NAHS/NJAHS chapter sponsors

All chapter sponsors are encouraged to join the NAHS/NJAHS group in NAEA’s 24/7 online community, COLLABORATE.

Collaborate is a space for NAEA members to find and share information and resources, gain inspiration, and make connections—anytime, anywhere. In the NAHS/NJAHS community, sponsors can post and answer questions, join conversations, initiate dialogue about any topic, search current and archived threads, post documents and media, find colleagues, and more!

After you’ve registered your chapter of NAHS/NJAHS, sponsors can log into Collaborate using their NAEA login credentials. To join the NAH/NJAHS community, search the communities tab for “NAHS/NJAHS” and click “join.”
