In a new Success Story (Digital DELLTA – Linking Learning and the Arts) ArtsConnection shares more about how its organization is working to support English-language acquisition and the future success of English-language learners through arts-based curricula. Through curricula aligned with the National Core Arts Standards in dance and theater, ArtsConnection engages students in arts-integrated lessons that help them to work and think like artists and prepare them for college and the workforce.

This compendium of newsletters from the AIE program explores the five arts disciplines through a collection of insights and resources, including narratives about 10 Arts in Education Model Development and Dissemination and Professional Development for Arts Educators projects. In addition to grantee spotlights, each discipline section also includes a research-focused feature article written by an expert in the field, as well as an overview on how the new National Core Arts Standards address the discipline.

The Ovation Foundation's Arts Ed Toolkit presents new and FREE arts education materials. Episode clips can be streamed and education activities can be downloaded. These resources support the National Core Arts Standards – Visual Arts, for High School. First time users will need to complete a simple registry form to access the free materials.

This study is an evaluation of The Arts in the Classroom Program which engaged 91 Kindergarten through sixth grade classroom teachers from a single school district in order to build their capacity to deliver standards-based interdisciplinary arts instruction to their students.

California Stakeholder Groups Engage on the State's New Arts Standards.

In 2014, arts education groups released the National Core Arts Standards, a set of K-12 standards for visual art, music, dance, theater, and media arts. Since then, 14 states and the DoDEA have adopted new arts standards, according to a short report from the National Coalition for the Core Arts Standards.
