Celebrate Arts in Ed Week

September 12-18

Next week, September 12-18, is National Arts in Education Week. We want to collaborate with you to let the world know that visual arts education is vital for all learners and that visual arts educators are the key to this important work, especially during these times of uncertainty.

NAEA President, James Haywood Rolling, Jr. encourages us all to advocate for visual arts education and sends this video message in preparation for next week.

Here are links to the resources James mentioned in the video:

Additionally, we encourage you to share on social media why visual arts education is important to you and your learners and tag your posts with #VisualArtsEd and #BecauseOfArtsEd. Let’s collaborate during National Arts in Education Week to help our schools, districts, museums, communities, states, and beyond know the power and importance of visual arts education and visual arts educators in the lives of learners!
