The National Art Education Foundation recognizes Kathi R. Levin for her 16 years of service as the National Art Education Foundation Program/Development Officer. Ms. Levin will end her tenure with NAEF on June 30, 2024.
Ms. Levin came to NAEF as their first employee with decades of experience in grantmaking with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and The Kennedy Center. Through her role with the Foundation, she assisted the NAEF Board of Trustees with the development of policies, procedures, and documents, reflecting “state of the art” practice. Additionally, during this time, individual donations rose from $3,000 to $24,000 annually by 2022, with the total number of donors growing from 37 to over 500 annually—a cumulative total of more than 1,000 donors. Ms. Levin collaborated with the Board of Trustees on the inception of both the NAEF Planned Giving Program and the NAEF Annual Benefit Event (a tradition that now spans 13 years).
We wish Kathi R Levin well on her future endeavors!
“Kathi’s work for the National Art Education Foundation is truly appreciated. Her efforts helped to successfully carry out NAEF’s work and bolster our mission to provide innovative initiatives to support instructional practice, research, and leadership in visual arts education.” ––Cris Guenter, Ed.D., NAEF Chair
