Live Virtual Events
Artist Connections: Open Studio Conversations is an exclusive online series for middle and high school students who are members of the National Art Honor Societies. The series begins with a 30-minute artist talk and concludes with a 30-minute Q&A/interview session led by middle and high school students.
Publication of Artwork in NAHS News
NAHS News is published twice yearly and available as a full-color, dynamic, digital publication. Chapters can submit images of student artwork and the chapter in action, as well as a chapter report to share all that you’ve accomplished.
NAHS and NJAHS Juried Exhibitions
NAHS and NJAHS chapter members are invited to submit artwork for possible inclusion in the annual juried exhibition which is held virtually.
This exhibition showcases the talent of NAHS and NJAHS student members and is seen by visual arts education professionals, creative leaders, and students from across the global. Entries are submitted digitally by chapter sponsors and juried by visual arts professionals.
The annual call opens in October and closes in January.
NAEA Awards
NAEA offers the opportunity to nominate outstanding NAHS chapter members and NAHS/NJAHS sponsors for national awards.
Rising Star Secondary Recognition Program
Promotes art education as a career by recognizing up to 50 talented, active NAHS members each year.
Outstanding NAHS Sponsor Award / Outstanding NJAHS Sponsor Award
Recognizes the dedication of one NAEA member who sponsors an outstanding NAHS Chapter and one who sponsors an NJAHS chapter.
College Scholarships
A growing number of institutions offer scholarships to NAHS juniors and seniors who will be attending their schools. The following institutions currently offer scholarships:

Student Leadership Opportunities
Student representatives on the NAHS/NJAHS Council play a vital role in providing recommendations to NAEA regarding program policies and procedures. Chapter sponsors are encouraged to nominate middle and high school students who are NAHS/NJAHS chapter members and demonstrate a strong commitment to the arts and leadership during the annual open call period.
