Presenters and Workshop Information

Q: Will my 2020 National Convention session automatically be part of the 2021 Convention?
A: Presentations will not automatically transfer to the 2021 NAEA National Convention. We encourage presenters, however, to upload their rich content and resources to the NAEA Mobile App (Search NAEAConv in the Apple App Store or GooglePlay) for 2020 registrants to explore. The 2021 Call for Presentations will open soon. Please be on the lookout for more information and make plans to submit your presentation!

Q: I’m a workshop presenter and already purchased materials and supplies. What do I do with the materials? Can I get refunded/reimbursed?
A: We ask that all workshop presenters first try to return any materials purchased to receive a refund directly. For any questions or additional options, please email convention@arteducators.org.

Q: I am a presenter, can I still share my presentation via video?
A: Yes! We are asking that all session and workshop presenters share a link to a virtual version of their presentation and any session-related handouts so they can be shared on the NAEA20 Mobile App. See details here.

Q: I was scheduled to host an official business meeting at the Convention. Can I still do this virtually?
A: Yes. We want to help you take care of important matters that help shape the organization. If you are listed as the primary presenter for a business meeting, you should receive an email from NAEA with details. If you have not, please contact convention@arteducators.org to enquire.

Q: I was to be honored at the Convention with an award or as a Distinguished Fellow. Will I still receive my award?
A: Yes, and congratulations! All honorees will be highlighted on the NAEA website and in the May issue of NAEA News. Your award/s will be mailed to you as soon as possible. You should receive an email from awards@arteducators.org with details.
