2017 NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition
The National Art Education Association (NAEA) holds an annual juried exhibition of National Art Honor Society/National Junior Art Honor Society (NAHS/NJAHS) student artwork. Out of 767 submissions received for the 2017 exhibition, 60 artworks were selected for display in the NAEA Studio & Gallery. All submissions are featured in the NAEA Virtual Gallery.
NAEA would like to thank the seven juror representatives from members schools of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD): School of the Museum of Fine Arts / Tufts University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Kansas City Art Institute, Memphis College of Art, College for Creative Studies, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and New Hampshire Institute of Art. Juror selections were guided by scoring in 5 categories: Visual Communication, Execution, Formal Elements, Originality, and Artist Statement.

Congressman Don Beyer’s 8th District National Art Competition

For the second year, the NAEA Studio & Gallery will showcase Virginia Congressman Don Beyer’s 8th District National Art Competition. One outstanding work of art will be selected by NAEA members to hang in the U.S. Capitol as part of the Congressional Art Competition exhibit.
