The purpose of the National Leadership Conference is to support and enhance the effectiveness of experienced, new and aspiring art education leaders. The program is designed in direct response to the timely interests and needs expressed by NAEA state leaders and includes time and space for hosting regional meetings and meeting in small groups with other leaders whose organizations are similar in size and share many of the same challenges.

Regional Leadership Conferences are held in odd numbered years. The National Leadership Conferences are held in even numbered years. The next NAEA National Leadership Conference will be held in Charleston, SC (Southeastern Region), in July 2018. More to come!

Past Conferences:

  • 2016 National Leadership Conference (Eastern Region), July 27-30, Washington, DC - View 2016 agenda
  • 2014 National Leadership Conference (Western Region), July, Santa Fe, NM

2017 Regional Conferences were held during the summer 2017.
