NAEA is temporarily pausing new Interest Group applications while we evaluate and strengthen our member benefits. As part of our broader work outlined in our upcoming 2027–2030 Strategic Plan, we are focusing on sustainability, alignment, and belonging to bolster the Association. We are committed to making our Interest Groups even better while ensuring that we’re making the best use of the time Interest Group leaders and NAEA staff invest in these opportunities.
Interest Groups are a vital part of how NAEA members connect, share expertise, and shape the field. As part of our broader work to strengthen the Association for the future, we are committed to their remaining a valued and lasting part of the Association.
Existing groups are not affected and will continue as usual. We’ll share updates as this work progresses, including when applications will reopen. In the meantime, we invite you to engage with our 25+ current Interest Groups.
