The Customized Arts Learning (CAL) Toolkit supports personalized learning in arts education and promotes strength-based instructional practices. Designed for preK–12 educators, the toolkit provides resources to support the needs of diverse learners and uses arts learning as a bridge to academic and interpersonal development.
During this Open Studio Conversation, presenters from the State Education Agency Directors of Arts Education (SEADAE) will introduce the CAL Toolkit and share practical strategies for using it in a variety of educational settings. Participants will explore how the toolkit can be used to create dialogue, build consensus, and address the unique needs of your students and school communities while supporting state standards and local learning outcomes.
