Call for Nominations

The NAEA Board of Directors guides the Association forward on behalf of NAEA’s members and their learners. As a member of the NAEA Board of Directors, you have opportunities to connect with educators from across the country, represent your geographic region or membership division, and gain leadership experience on a national level.

We invite YOU to help shape the future of the Association and visual arts, design, and media arts education by contributing your insight and ideas as part of the NAEA Board of Directors.

The NAEA Board of Directors is accepting nominations for the following positions:

• Eastern Region Vice President–Elect,
• Southeastern Region Vice President–Elect,
• Pacific Region Vice President–Elect, and
• Western Region Vice President–Elect.

2023 NAEA Nominating Committee

Call for Applications

The NAEA Nominating Committee carefully and collectively reviews all nominees for the NAEA Board of Directors to select candidates for each upcoming elected position. NAEA members then vote on these candidates in an annual election. We’re looking for a diverse range of volunteers to represent membership as the 2023 NAEA Nominating Committee.

National Convention Program Coordinator

Call for Applications

Do you have a vision for the NAEA National Convention? We invite NAEA members to apply for the volunteer position of National Convention Program Coordinator for the 2025 and 2026 NAEA National Conventions.

Responsibilities of the National Convention Program Coordinator include bringing both vision and concept to the planning of the Convention program that advances NAEA’s mission and enhances the member experience while also utilizing a lens of equity and inclusion. They work closely with NAEA staff and the local planning team from April 1 through February 28 of the following year to develop and execute the vision for this experience.
