The next call for submissions will be announced in spring 2018. Chapter sponsors, watch your inboxes for details in March, and check back here for details.
Submission Criteria Overview:
Chapter sponsors may submit one entry per student and submissions are uploaded and juried digitally. Selected artworks are shipped to the NAEA Studio and Gallery for display, and all submissions are displayed in the NAEA VIRTUAL GALLERY.
After the annual call for artwork opens, submitting is easy. Sponsors will need their chapter number and NAEA membership number before creating an account through the ArtCall submission portal. When submitting student art, sponsors will need each student’s first and last name, summer mailing address, e-mail address, artwork image for upload, artwork dimensions, and artist statement (50 word limit).
Juror selections will be guided by scoring in 5 categories: Visual Communication, Execution, Formal Elements, Originality, and Artist Statement.
