LOUIS WEST

 

Louis West has been teaching for the last 12 years at Clarksville Middle School in Clarksville, Maryland, where he currently serves as the chair of middle school art programs for the Howard County Public School System. Previously, he taught two years at the high school level.

Louis has served the Maryland Art Education Association as an assistant editor and editor of the chapter newsletter and also as the Middle School Division leader. He has planned and presented workshop experiences at state and national conferences and has been recognized for awards at the local, state and national levels.

Louis holds a master of art education and a bachelor's degree from Towson University (Towson, Maryland). He recently earned certification from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards.
