KRIS KURTENBACH

 

Kris Kurtenbach is founding partner of Collaborative Communications Group, a Washington, D.C., consulting firm that works with groups serving public education. She has particular interest in issues related to education reform, economic development, work force development and community engagement. Her work experience includes communications strategy and implementation, facilitation and writing, and strategic and organizational consulting to foundations, nonprofits, policymakers, education leaders and community leaders.

Kris has worked with federal and state policymakers as well as municipal and education leaders in many major U.S. cities. Her association and education organization clients include Annenberg Institute for School Reform, Council of Chief State School Officers, NAEA, National Association of Elementary School Principals, National Center on Education and the Economy, National Commission on Teaching and America's Future, National League of Cities, Public Education Network and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Her foundation clients include Annie E. Casey Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Kettering Foundation and the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation.
