Benefits of NAEA STUDENT CHAPTER Participation

Does your school have a Student Chapter?  If not, you can start one!  You will need an official Advisor, such as a Professor in your college.  Follow the directions/steps provided to start a Student Chapter.
Already have one?
Here’s why you should be an ACTIVE chapter member!

Benefits of NAEA STUDENT CHAPTER Participation!

Camaraderie!  You will get to know each other in a stronger way, build on one another’s strengths, and develop teamwork skills.

Fundraising!  As an official chapter, you can fundraise together to earn cash for traveling to the annual National Convention!  Stay tuned to gain ideas from other student chapters that we feature!

Sharing!  Connect with other student chapters for lesson plans exchanges, new techniques and material instruction, as well as collegiate research and theory.

Mentorship!  Align your chapter with the RAEA (Retired Art Education Association) by using this application and form a relationship between an RAEA member and your own chapter.

Promotion!  Promote your student chapter’s accomplishments through our online venues such as our FaceBook page, Blog, monthly e-bulletin, and NAEA News.

Philanthropy! Many student chapters pride themselves on great services and efforts provided towards improving their communities.  Examples like painting a mural at a children’s hospital or providing free art lessons to communities in need have been prior works of student chapters.

Friendship!  A student chapter brings members of your institution together for a common purpose and relationships that can last a lifetime.   Camaraderie!  You will get to know each other in a stronger way, build on one another’s strengths, and develop teamwork skills.
